The maker

Hi, I’m Vihitha.

I’m eighteen, a competitive swimmer — and, when I’m not in the pool, the person painting every set you see here.

Vihitha, the artist behind the brand

Most of my life runs on a clock. I swim backstroke and freestyle at the national level, which means two training sessions a day — early mornings, late evenings — built on discipline and repetition. I love it. But a life that precise needs somewhere to come undone.

For me, that place is a fine brush and a blank nail.

When I started painting nails, I noticed something: the noise in my head went quiet. Laying down a thin line of gold, blending a French tip, catching the light on a glossy finish — it takes the same focus as a race, but it gives something back. It’s meditative. I lose myself in it; an hour disappears and I look up calmer than I started.

“Every set is painted by hand — never printed, never stamped, never mass-produced.”

That’s the part I care about most. Because each set is painted one nail at a time, no two are ever exactly alike — and the tiny imperfections are part of the charm. You’re not buying a printed sticker of art; you’re getting the real thing, made slowly and on purpose, for you.

Sōzō by Vihi began as my creative outlet. This little shop is simply me sharing it with you, one made-to-order set at a time. And if you have an idea of your own? Even better — tell me, and I’ll paint it.
