Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Sozo by Vihi (operated by Vihitha Nayana) collects when you use this website, how we use it, and who we share it with. We only collect what we need to take and fulfil your order, and we never sell your data.

Information we collect

• Account details: when you sign in with Google to place or view an order, we receive your name and email address from your Google account.
• Order details: your phone number and shipping address, and — if you choose to use the map feature — an approximate location pin to help the courier find you.
• Order history: the items, amounts and status of orders you place.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details — Razorpay handles those directly. We only receive a payment reference and its status.

How we use your information

• To process, paint, pack and ship your order.
• To contact you about your order or a custom request.
• To process payments and any refunds.
• To keep your account and order history available to you.
• To meet our legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers needed to run the store:

• Razorpay — to process payments and refunds securely.
• Google (Firebase & Google Cloud) — for sign-in, hosting, our database and image storage.
• Google Maps Platform — to help you enter your address and pin your location at checkout.
• Blue Dart — to ship your order; they receive your name, address and phone number to make the delivery.

We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Cookies & local storage

We use a secure sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser's local storage to remember the items in your shopping bag. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we don't run analytics profiling.

Data retention

We keep your account and order records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting and tax requirements. You can ask us to delete information that we're not required to keep.

Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure, access to it is restricted, and payment details are handled entirely by Razorpay over encrypted connections. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or ask a question about how it's used, by emailing vihithanayana1048@gmail.com. You can review your orders any time from My orders.

Children

This store is intended for use by adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the "last updated" date above.
